
Greg Wachtenheim graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in Screen Arts and Cultures, a concentration in Screenwriting, and a minor in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture.
While attending the University of Michigan, Greg wrote two original feature length screenplays, one of which was selected as the winner of the 2011 Peter and Barbara Benedek Best Screenplay Award. Greg also wrote a spec script of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a pilot for a three camera sitcom with corresponding pitch bible, and a number of short films that were in film festivals including the NBC Shortcuts Film Festival, and featured in the online edition of the Every Three Weekly, U of M’s satirical newspaper.
Greg has garnered professional experience in development, production, and management at Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Benderspink, and Dick Clark Productions. Greg is practiced at writing screenplay coverage, rolling calls, and scheduling.
